The food is terrific, infact, I think it has improved. Friendly staff. They keep it really cool, so take a sweater.

I've been to Cafe Bonita a dozen or so times with my wife and with coworkers. Today I had a red chile burrito lunch special, enchilada style. The meat was tender and spiced well to my taste. I know from personal experience that their carne seca and carne asada are also good.

A unique item I've had in the past is the chicken and spinach enchiladas with a white sauce. It's very mild and tasty.

Service is usually quick and friendly. You may have to wait for a table if you hit the business lunch rush, but has not usually been a problem.

Cost is usually around $10-11 per person for lunch if you get a special with a soft drink, tax and tip.
