it's not what it used to be!

We've been going to Papagayo for years and have always liked it.
Tonight three of us stopped for dinner.
I had the Red Chile Con Carne with flour tortillas, rice and beans. It has just the right amount of heat for me. The meat was very tender and the red sauce thick and flavorful. The tortillas were served warm. It's a regular favorite for me, though I try to cycle through different menu items as everything has been so good.
My wife had a cheese enchilada and beans. The enchilada was also very good. The beans are just the right texture, some big pieces of soft bean in with the crushed beans, and have a slight bacony flavor.
The teen who came with us had a carne asada burrito. It was quite large and was accompanied by a large portion of pico de gallo (fresh tomato salsa without peppers). The carne asada is quite tasty.
The bill for the 3 dinners, guacamole, and iced teas all around was $33.65 plus tip.
