This is a great place to get food and drinks! They have the most creative drinks and the tapas served during happy hour are excellent! There is outdoor seating on the patio with a big screen tv for games and it has a beautiful view of the Catalina Foothills and the patio is dog friendly! They actually gave my dog water and treats also. The service was much better than what I've read and I felt very well taken care of. I highly recommend it!

No service whatsoever. Then they charged another party's bill on my credit card, as well as my bill, and no one would respond to my request for a credit receipt. WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

Our party of 6 adults and 2 children arrived at 9 AM and immediately ordered breakfast. Our mediocre food wasn't served until 9:55, two orders were wrong. Several other parties came after us, ate and left before we got our food; we won't be back.

After reading the reviews I hesitated to eat there, but we were in the neighborhood and decided to give a try. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. We found out they are under new ownership. Stacy the new owner was very nice!!!

The food is good but is over-priced. Service is rarely good - most of the time it is hard to get coffee or water refills and no one checks to see how the food is after served or if you need anything, which is UNACCEPTABLE given the prices!

My wife and I have been there several times. The service has been prompt and friendly and the food is generally very good. We haven't experienced any rudeness or poor service that others have reported. Maybe there have been staff changes since then.

One thing to note is that the omelets aren't really omelets. They're scrambled eggs with the stuff mixed in, cooked and flipped. I prefer true omelets so I just order something else.

I guess everywhere has bad days and sometimes even bad customers. I have eaten regularly at Cafe Jasper for the past two years and NEVER had a bad experience. Thoroughly recommend it. David Graham

Had a breakfast and the food was good but I must agree with the other reviewers who said the service is slow and quite frankly non-existant. Good luck getting a cup of coffee or water and then don't expect a re-fill. Too pricy for this kind of serv

They only serve breakfast and lunch, but the food is amazing and so is the service. (Must try their stuffed french toast for breakfast!) It is warm, family owned restaurant, with a very unique Southwestern taste. Also, owner bakes pastries daily.

We had dinner there last night -- we always enjoyed lunch and looked forward to dining. We arrived at 6:05 PM and we finally recieved our meal at 7:00...too many alternatives within a half mile to risk bad service again.

Went for lunch for the first time today (Wed, 12pm) and all in our party had great salads, fresh and perfectly dressed. Our waitress was wonderful- I'll definitely go back and keep my fingers crossed to not experience the rude service mentioned here.

I frequently bring out of town visitors to Cafe Jasper, especially for breakfast and they are impressed by the food and the service. We are treated with courtesy, allowed to sit and talk after eating without being disturbed by the waiter/ess except to refill coffee cups.
The best time for a leisurely breakfast is around 10:30 a.m. when there are fewer patrons.

Cafe Jaspers has been the best thing for breakfast that has been in the foothills in years. I am a very picky eater, after eating there once I could eat there everyday.

We have eaten here several times, and while the food is good, the manager has asked us to leave on THREE occasions for staying too long. On our third visit she was rude about accomodating our group size. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Was there for breakfast on Friday, great french toast stuffed with bananas. Then again for lunch on Saturday, I had a chicken burrito with green sauce and my friend had the roast beef sandwich both were top quality. Get there early, avoid the rush.

Was not allowed to eat by rude manager. She made no effort to allow our group to sit together, and told two of our group there was no room to eat and that we would have to leave. She was rude, had a bad attitude and was not at all helpful.
