Overall: Excellent, Food: Excellent, Service: Excellent, Atmosphere: Excellent, Cleanliness: ExcellentReview by J on September 23rd, 2010
This is a great place to get food and drinks! They have the most creative drinks and the tapas served during happy hour are excellent! There is outdoor seating on the patio with a big screen tv for games and it has a beautiful view of the Catalina Foothills and the patio is dog friendly! They actually gave my dog water and treats also. The service was much better than what I've read and I felt very well taken care of. I highly recommend it!Review by anonymous on September 20th, 2010
No service whatsoever. Then they charged another party's bill on my credit card, as well as my bill, and no one would respond to my request for a credit receipt. WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.Review by anonymous on September 12th, 2010
Poor sevice, even NO service, no food, no response by NEW management. Long time patron will never go again.Review by anonymous on July 24th, 2010
Our party of 6 adults and 2 children arrived at 9 AM and immediately ordered breakfast. Our mediocre food wasn't served until 9:55, two orders were wrong. Several other parties came after us, ate and left before we got our food; we won't be back.Review by anonymous on June 30th, 2010
After reading the reviews I hesitated to eat there, but we were in the neighborhood and decided to give a try. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. We found out they are under new ownership. Stacy the new owner was very nice!!!Review by anonymous on July 26th, 2009
We went to enjoy Sunday morning breakfast. Food was fine. However, as soon as we were done eating, the bill arrived, and less than five minutes after paying, the manager showed up to "check" on us. She prompty directed us to leave as thereReview by anonymous on June 19th, 2009
The food is good but is over-priced. Service is rarely good - most of the time it is hard to get coffee or water refills and no one checks to see how the food is after served or if you need anything, which is UNACCEPTABLE given the prices!Review by TRG Staff on April 10th, 2009
My wife and I have been there several times. The service has been prompt and friendly and the food is generally very good. We haven't experienced any rudeness or poor service that others have reported. Maybe there have been staff changes since then.Review by anonymous on December 20th, 2008
I guess everywhere has bad days and sometimes even bad customers. I have eaten regularly at Cafe Jasper for the past two years and NEVER had a bad experience. Thoroughly recommend it. David GrahamReview by anonymous on October 24th, 2008
Had a breakfast and the food was good but I must agree with the other reviewers who said the service is slow and quite frankly non-existant. Good luck getting a cup of coffee or water and then don't expect a re-fill. Too pricy for this kind of servReview by anonymous on September 21st, 2008
Had breakfast here this morning and the food was wonderful and the service was outstanding. Have had Dan as a waiter before and he was great as ever!Review by anonymous on September 8th, 2008
food good ,service baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadReview by anonymous on September 5th, 2008
They only serve breakfast and lunch, but the food is amazing and so is the service. (Must try their stuffed french toast for breakfast!) It is warm, family owned restaurant, with a very unique Southwestern taste. Also, owner bakes pastries daily.Review by anonymous on June 19th, 2008

So rude I will never return. Totally ruined an important business lunch. Unreal, absolutel unrealReview by anonymous on June 19th, 2008
Unbelievably rude waitress, We had just paid our bill when this tall frizzy haired witch showed up by our table and rudely shouted "will there be anything else?" to which I replied" no thank you we were just leaving"..her reply? &Review by anonymous on April 10th, 2008
We had dinner there last night -- we always enjoyed lunch and looked forward to dining. We arrived at 6:05 PM and we finally recieved our meal at 7:00...too many alternatives within a half mile to risk bad service again.Review by anonymous on March 7th, 2008
We recently dined at the Jasper Cafe, and while the service was reasonable, I was dismayed to hear loud, offensive language coming from the kitchen area, and from a woman, no less. My husband and I have no intention of returning to this establishmentReview by anonymous on February 14th, 2008

Went for lunch for the first time today (Wed, 12pm) and all in our party had great salads, fresh and perfectly dressed. Our waitress was wonderful- I'll definitely go back and keep my fingers crossed to not experience the rude service mentioned here.Review by anonymous on August 16th, 2007
(continued)...the restaurant was nearly empty! Other patrons were shocked and we were rather embarrassed. I will NEVER go here again. The waitress (frizzy hair) was beyond rude.Review by anonymous on August 16th, 2007
My friend and I met here for breakfast, which was decent. Service was TERRIBLE, and very inattentive. We stayed for about two hours talking, and were asked to leave by the waitress. It was now "lunch hour," though the retaurant was nearly eReview by ladybug on July 30th, 2007
I frequently bring out of town visitors to Cafe Jasper, especially for breakfast and they are impressed by the food and the service. We are treated with courtesy, allowed to sit and talk after eating without being disturbed by the waiter/ess except to refill coffee cups.Review by anonymous on June 13th, 2007
I also had an unpleasant experience with woman who does the seating (the manager?) at Cafe Jasper. I enjoyed the food, but won't go there again.Review by anonymous on March 25th, 2007
Cafe Jaspers has been the best thing for breakfast that has been in the foothills in years. I am a very picky eater, after eating there once I could eat there everyday.Review by anonymous on February 20th, 2007
RE: comments by party that was asked to leave.Review by anonymous on January 26th, 2007
We have eaten here several times, and while the food is good, the manager has asked us to leave on THREE occasions for staying too long. On our third visit she was rude about accomodating our group size. Needless to say, we won't be returning.Review by anonymous on November 28th, 2006
This is not your big box restaurant like Coco's or Denny's. Small, intimate and fabulous food. Love that it's family run - cannot wait to go back.Review by anonymous on November 26th, 2006
Was there for breakfast on Friday, great french toast stuffed with bananas. Then again for lunch on Saturday, I had a chicken burrito with green sauce and my friend had the roast beef sandwich both were top quality. Get there early, avoid the rush.Review by anonymous on November 4th, 2006
Poor service! There's a 30 min."no food served" from 11-11:30am between breakfast/lunch. I called a to-go lunch order for 5 and would have been happy to wait until 11:30. Order was refused;would not even write it up.Took business to AJ's.Review by anonymous on August 30th, 2006
Good food and their scones are incredible!Review by anonymous on April 6th, 2006
The BEST in the area!Review by anonymous on December 12th, 2005
One of the best neighborhood places in town. Sunday brunch is especially good.Review by anonymous on October 24th, 2005
Was not allowed to eat by rude manager. She made no effort to allow our group to sit together, and told two of our group there was no room to eat and that we would have to leave. She was rude, had a bad attitude and was not at all helpful.
